"In these experiments I am trying to delve into the books, into facts and knowledge, as a way to understand my world. Using the surface space to express what I “dig-up”.

There's a recurring theme of stacked circles that looks fascinating

Mythbusters Paint Mona Lisa In One Go With 1,100-Barrel Paint Gun

"Leonardo Da Vinci might have worked painstakingly on the Mona Lisa and her enigmatic smile but the crowd at Mythbusters managed their own version in less than a second at nVidia's NVISION event this week.

Of course, the duo of Adam and Jamie were going to have to pull it off in style, if they wanted to demonstrate the difference between single-core CPUs and multi-core graphics processing units (GPUs). And that they did, with the help of an 1100-barrel paint gun that fired all the paint simultaneously."

One word.....WOW!!!

Kate McMorrine

Kate McMorrine is an artist from the Isle of Skye, a tiny island just off the coast of Scotland where she “learned to play magical instruments and see colors no other can ever see”. She now lives in London. Kate’s practice is grounded in the discipline of drawing and deals with narratives found in misheard conversations and the story-telling tradition. Activating the visual with the use of such things as automatic drawing, old photographs and cut outs she forms characters and narratives which inhabit a personal world.

Fantastic collages by Sr.Garcia

Kurt Wenner

Kurt Wenner is an international master artist who interprets Renaissance classicism in a very unique (3D) style. Unlike any other contemporary talent, Wenner fuses the visual patrimony of the past with 21st Century imagination and stunning originality.

Last week he caused a bit of a stir at Waterloo station with his latest masterpiece; a open vault spilling out cash. Clever.

He's also an architect. See more of his work at http://www.kurtwenner.com

Helen Musselwhite

Helen works from her studio in the North West. These little scenes look amazing. By cutting and folding paper Helen creates these incredibly intricate wallhangings.

Each piece combines the hand cutting, folding and scoring of a wide range of papers and card that are further worked on to create patterned and textured surfaces. They are then used to build scenes in box frames which are often complex and consist of many layers. This process means that each item of work is truly individual with no two pieces the same.Influenced by the natural world each piece is manipulated to become an intriguing place, a glimpse into another world of fiction and fairytale.

Stuart White

Stuart White has transformed the functional use of the IKEA pencil into a creative tool by using it to make mass-produced prints, mimicking an assembly line. Such an original idea, I'd like to give it a go myself...best buy some strong adhesive.
